Last updated: 24 August 2026

Healthy Learning Lounge respects your privacy and is committed to handling your personal information responsibly and transparently.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and disclose personal information when you use our website, educational programs, courses, questionnaires, digital resources, mobile app, AI-supported tools and other services.

1. Who we are

Healthy Learning Lounge is operated by:

Healthy Learning Lounge Pty Ltd ACN 685 386 510 as trustee for the Healthy Learning Lounge Trust ABN 89 568 071 763, trading as Healthy Learning Lounge

Australia

Email: [email protected]

Healthy Learning Lounge may operate in association with BlossomingMe Pty Ltd and may refer users to BlossomingMe where individual clinical assessment or treatment may be appropriate.

Healthy Learning Lounge and BlossomingMe provide separate services. Personal or health information is not automatically transferred between the businesses and will only be shared where reasonably necessary and permitted by law, or with your consent where required.

2. Information we may collect

Depending on how you interact with Healthy Learning Lounge, we may collect information such as:

your name, email address, telephone number, date of birth and other contact details;

account, enrolment and purchase information;

information you provide when completing forms, questionnaires, surveys or assessments;

information about your health, symptoms, lifestyle, movement, nutrition, wellbeing, health history or goals that you choose to provide;

information you provide while participating in courses, group programs, individual guidance or AI-supported tools;

communications between you and Healthy Learning Lounge;

feedback and information about your experience with our programs and services;

payment and transaction information, noting that payment details may be processed by third-party payment providers rather than stored directly by us; and

technical information associated with your use of our websites, app and online services, such as device, browser, IP address, cookies and usage information.

Some information you provide may constitute sensitive information or health information under Australian privacy law. Where applicable, we handle this information with additional care and collect it where you consent or where otherwise permitted by law.

3. Why we collect and use your information

We may use your information to:

provide courses, educational programs, resources and services you have requested or purchased;

administer enrolments, accounts and payments;

understand your goals, concerns and circumstances so that educational content or guided experiences can be appropriately tailored;

review questionnaires and other information you provide before or during a program;

communicate with you about your participation;

provide program materials, questionnaires, reminders, scheduling information, updates and other communications reasonably necessary to administer and deliver a service you have requested or purchased;

provide and improve our websites, app, AI-supported tools, educational resources and services;

respond to enquiries and provide support;

maintain appropriate business and administrative records;

manage safety concerns and recommend appropriate professional or medical review where relevant;

meet our legal and regulatory obligations; and

send marketing communications where we have an appropriate basis to do so.

Providing information through a health or wellbeing questionnaire does not itself establish a practitioner-patient relationship with Healthy Learning Lounge.

4. Communications about services you have purchased

When you enrol in, purchase or participate in a Healthy Learning Lounge program or service, we may use the contact details you provide to communicate with you where reasonably necessary to administer and deliver that service.

For example, we may contact you about:

enrolment and access;

questionnaires or information required for participation;

course materials;

workshop or session details;

reminders;

scheduling changes;

important program updates; and

other matters directly related to providing the service you have requested or purchased.

These service and administrative communications are separate from optional marketing communications.

Where a particular communication channel requires additional consent under applicable law or the requirements of our communications provider, we will obtain that consent where required.

5. Marketing communications

With your consent, or where otherwise permitted by law, we may send you information about health education, resources, programs, events, products, services or offers that we believe may be relevant to you.

Where required, marketing consent will be presented separately from information or communications necessary to provide a service you have purchased.

You may unsubscribe from marketing communications using the unsubscribe facility provided in the relevant communication or by contacting us.

Choosing not to receive marketing communications does not prevent you from receiving communications reasonably necessary to administer or deliver a service in which you are currently participating, subject to applicable law and communication-provider requirements.

6. Health questionnaires and personalised programs

Some Healthy Learning Lounge programs invite you to provide information about your health, symptoms, history, movement, lifestyle and wellbeing.

This information may be used to:

help identify areas that may be useful to explore during a program;

assist with tailoring educational guidance;

help you understand patterns and relationships within your own health and body;

inform discussions, movement observations or assessments included within a program; and

compare information or observations at different stages of a program.

These tools form part of an educational and guided approach and are not a substitute for medical assessment, diagnosis or treatment where these are required.

7. AI-supported tools

Healthy Learning Lounge may provide AI-supported educational tools or mentors.

Information entered into these tools may be processed by technology providers that enable us to provide the service.

AI-supported tools are intended to provide education, reflection and general guidance. They are not a substitute for individual medical diagnosis, emergency care or other professional healthcare where this is required.

We take reasonable steps to select and configure technology providers appropriately and to limit the information used or disclosed to what is reasonably necessary for providing the service.

8. When we may disclose information

We may disclose personal information where reasonably necessary to organisations that help us operate Healthy Learning Lounge, including providers of:

website and application hosting;

customer relationship management and communications systems;

course and educational platforms;

email and messaging services;

AI and technology services;

payment processing;

data storage and security;

accounting, legal and professional services; and

analytics and business-support services.

These providers may process information on our behalf.

We may also disclose information where:

you have authorised us to do so;

it is reasonably necessary to provide a service you have requested;

we are required or authorised by law; or

disclosure is necessary to address a serious safety concern as permitted by law.

We do not sell your personal information.

9. Overseas processing and storage

Some technology and service providers used by Healthy Learning Lounge may store or process information outside Australia.

The countries involved may vary as service providers and their infrastructure change.

Where reasonably practicable, we take steps to use reputable providers and appropriate privacy and security safeguards. However, privacy protections in another country may differ from those available in Australia.

10. Cookies, analytics and website information

Our websites and digital services may use cookies and similar technologies to operate correctly, remember preferences, understand how people use our services, improve performance and measure the effectiveness of communications or marketing.

You may be able to control cookies through your browser or device settings, although disabling some cookies may affect website functionality.

11. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information against misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.

These measures may include access controls, secure technology providers, authentication procedures and appropriate business practices.

No electronic system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted or stored electronically.

12. Retention of information

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, our legitimate business and record-keeping requirements, and applicable legal obligations.

When information is no longer reasonably required, we may delete, destroy or de-identify it where appropriate and permitted by law.

13. Access and correction

You may contact us to request access to personal information we hold about you or to ask us to correct information that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date.

We may need to verify your identity before responding to a request.

In some circumstances, Australian law permits or requires us to refuse access or correction. If this occurs, we will provide an explanation where required.

14. Privacy concerns and complaints

If you have a question or concern about how Healthy Learning Lounge handles your personal information, please contact:

Healthy Learning Lounge
[email protected]

We will take reasonable steps to investigate and respond to privacy concerns.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may also have the right to make a complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our services, technology, business practices or legal obligations.

The current version will be published on our website with its most recent update date.
